- You don't have to have SLIP or PPP connected in order to run Mail. You can
- read messages, write new once then connect to the internet in order to have
- the qued up messages go out and to retrieve new once. When you create
- messages they go into the Outbox, then after you connect to the PPP server
- (through Custom) you can select the messages in the Outbox and send them out.
- Also, at that time you can start the retrieval of new messages.
